Oakway Cabinets and Countertops

Process

Visit, plan, quote, then the right handoff.

The process starts the same way: understand the room, plan the cabinet and countertop path, and put the quote in writing. From there, Oakway either leads the install or supports your contractor-led project.

1

Kitchen visit

Overview
A focused in-home visit first.
What Oakway does
We come to the kitchen, talk through what is changing, and take the measurements needed to plan clearly.
What you do
Share what is not working, what you want to change, and any drawings, photos, or contractor notes you already have.
What comes next
We explain what Oakway needs to quote accurately and what should be clarified before anything is ordered.

2

Design session

Overview
Selections start with the kitchen itself.
What Oakway does
We narrow the cabinet layout, countertop direction, finishes, hardware, storage needs, and install path.
What you do
Review options, ask questions, and make the decisions needed to move the quote forward.
What comes next
The cabinet and countertop plan becomes clear enough to price, order, and hand off correctly.

3

Install or handoff

Overview
The right path depends on the project.
What Oakway does
If Oakway is leading the install, we coordinate cabinet install, countertop timing, reconnects, cleanup, and final review. If your contractor is leading the room, we make the cabinet and countertop handoff clear before anything is ordered.
What you do
Approve the written quote, timing, and responsibilities before work moves forward.
What comes next
You know whether Oakway is leading the install or handing off a clear cabinet and countertop plan to your contractor.

Timeline

An estimated timeline before anything is ordered.

Timing changes by cabinet line, countertop selection, accessories, and room conditions, but the sequence should be clear before materials move forward.

  • VisitMeasurements, photos, goals, and the right project path
  • SelectionsCabinet, countertop, hardware, accessory, and layout choices
  • QuoteWritten plan, pricing, timing, and what happens next
  • Install or handoffOakway-led install or contractor handoff, depending on the project path

Bigger kitchens, specialty surfaces, added accessories, and room conditions can move the timing, so we talk through the schedule before anything is ordered.

Before ordering

Clarity shows up in the paperwork before it shows up in the kitchen.

Before anything is ordered, Oakway puts the cabinet plan, countertop path, pricing, timing, and responsibilities in writing.

Written plan

What is included

The cabinet and countertop pieces, coordination, and responsibilities are listed clearly.

Decision list

What is still open

Items like backsplash, flooring, electrical, contractor work, or field conditions are called out if they need separate pricing or decisions.

The schedule

What happens next

You know what needs approval before ordering and what happens after.

The quote

What’s on the quote, what’s not.
